Are you an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex challenges with elegant, scalable solutions? At CostPerform, we’re seeking a Java-Angular Developer who wants to build high-quality software used by global enterprises and government agencies to master the toughest cost and performance questions. 

What You’ll Do: 

Design and Develop Core Features: 
Build and optimize the CostPerform software platform, using Java, Angular, and TypeScript to deliver powerful, intuitive functionality for enterprise users. 

Enhance Performance and Maintainability: 
Analyze, refactor, and improve existing modules to ensure optimal performance, stability, and maintainability in our continuously evolving product. 

Collaborate Across Teams: 
Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and fellow developers to design solutions that meet both business and user needs. 

Innovate and Experiment: 
Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance our technology stack and drive software excellence. 

Support and Mentor: 
Provide technical guidance to the support team, review code, and share expertise to elevate the skills of the development team. 

This is what we’re offering:

  • A competitive salary between €4,500 and €5,500, based on full-time employment (32–40 hours per week). 
  • Performance-based annual bonus, reflecting both individual and company success.

So, what are we looking for?

  • 5–10 years of experience as a software developer with strong proficiency in Java and/or Angular/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles.
  • Solid grasp of cloud principles and AWS ecosystems, with the ability to build and deploy applications in a cloud-first environment, is a plus.
  • Comfortable leading work across the Java and/or Angular tech stack, and skilled at shaping well-structured, high-quality solutions.
  • HBO or WO degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset with attention to quality and maintainability.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale applications or the financial sector is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
  • Living in the Netherlands and willing to travel regularly to Utrecht for team collaboration.
